• Thorough Cleaning: Begin with a meticulous cleaning of the underbody. It's crucial to remove all dirt, grease, rust, or any other contaminants that might hinder the sealant's adhesion.
• Dry Completely: Ensure the underbody is entirely dry. Any moisture can compromise the effectiveness of the Chassis Champ.
• Shake Well: Vigorously shake the Chassis Champ container to ensure a homogenous mix.
• Application: With the provided applicator or a suitable brush, apply a uniform coat of Chassis Champ to the underbody. Ensure all areas are covered adequately.
• Curing Time: Allow a minimum of 12 hours for the product to cure fully. This is crucial to formulating the protective barrier.
• Venture Out: Once the curing time is over, you're ready to conquer any terrain, whether it's the dunes, mud flats, bush, or salty roads, with your underbody optimally shielded.

What does Chassis Champ do?

Can I spray it over existing rust?
Chassis Champ is designed to protect, not convert rust. For the best results, remove loose rust and thoroughly clean the surface before application.

How often should I reapply it?
For vehicles regularly exposed to beach driving, saltwater or harsh off-road conditions, reapply every 3–6 months, or more frequently if required.

Can I use it on my whole underbody?
Yes. Chassis Champ is suitable for chassis rails, crossmembers, suspension components, underbody panels and other exposed metal surfaces. Avoid spraying brakes, tyres, exhaust components and drive belts.

Will it wash off?
No. Chassis Champ is formulated to provide long-lasting protection, however regular exposure to mud, pressure washing and abrasive conditions will gradually reduce the protective film over time.

Can I apply it to a wet chassis?
For maximum protection, apply to a clean, dry chassis. This allows the product to bond properly and provide the best corrosion protection.

Can I use it after every beach trip?
Yes. After thoroughly cleaning the chassis with Salty Captain Chassis Flush, reapply Chassis Champ as required to maintain ongoing corrosion protection.

Does it stop rust?
Chassis Champ helps prevent new rust and corrosion by creating a protective barrier against moisture and salt. It is not a rust converter or rust remover for heavily corroded surfaces.
