Captain's Musket (2-in-1 Foam & Flush Gun)

A lightweight, garden hose-compatible foam gun with multiple uses. Commonly used for foaming the exterior of vehicles, the Captain’s Musket also functions as an outboard and PWC engine flush device for marine vessel owners. Additionally, it can be equipped with a telescopic foam brush for scrubbing tasks, making it a versatile cleaning tool for any job.

For Exterior Cleaning:

Preparation:

• Ensure your vehicle or vessel is out of the water and parked on a stable shaded surface.
• Attach a garden hose to the Captain’s Musket (Foam & Flush Gun).

Load the Desired Detergent:

• Unscrew the reservoir on the Musket.
• Fill the reservoir with the Detergent.
• Screw the reservoir back onto the Musket.

Adjust the Musket Settings:

• Set the crank handle on the Musket to the "Foam" setting. This mixes water with the Detergent for a foamy application.

Apply the Foam:

• Start spraying the foam onto your vehicle working from top to bottom.
• Let the foam sit for 2-3 minutes to loosen up dirt, salt, and grime.

Scrub and Rinse:

• Use a soft brush or microfiber hand mit to gently scrub the surfaces, focusing on areas with heavy buildup.
• Switch the Musket to the “Rinse” setting (water only) and rinse off the foam completely.

For Engine Flushing:

Outboard Engine:

Preparation:

• Ensure the outboard engine is in a vertical position.
• Connect the garden hose to the Captain’s Musket.

Fill the Musket with Engine Flush Solution:

• Unscrew the Musket’s reservoir.
• Fill the reservoir with the Engine Flush Solution.
• Screw the reservoir back on.

Attach the Flush Kit:

• Connect the Musket to the engine’s flush port (usually near the lower unit) or use muffs if your outboard has them.

Start Flushing:

• Turn the Musket crank handle to the middle "Water Only" setting.
• Start the engine and let it idle. Do not rev the engine.

Shut Down:

• Connect the garden hose to the Captain’s Musket.

Fill the Musket with Engine Flush Solution:

• Unscrew the Musket’s reservoir.
• Fill it with Engine Flush Solution.
• Reattach the reservoir.

Attach the Flush Kit:

• Locate the flush port on your PWC (usually at the rear or side).
• Attach the hose and Musket to the flush port.

Start Flushing:

• Start the engine before turning on the water.
• Turn the Musket crank handle to the "Flush Solution" setting to circulate the flush solution through the engine.
• Let it run for 2-3 minutes (or as per your manufacturer’s guidelines) to remove salt and debris.
